Biography:
Thomas D. Richards is a graduate of Ohio State
University, where he received his Bachelor's
Degree in 1972. Mr. Richards, the founder of
Richards & Associates, went on to attend law
school at Northern Kentucky University Chase
College of Law in 1980. Mr. Richards graduated
early program ahead of his class in December of
1983.
Mr. Richards practiced in a large downtown
litigation firm, where he learned the skills
necessary to establish Richards &
Associates in 1989. Mr. Richards, while
at the large downtown firm, gained years of
valuable experience handling personal injury
trials, negotiations, civil litigation, and
numerous other courtroom matters -- some with
million-dollar judgments, verdicts or
settlements. He also handled numerous other
Domestic Relations and Divorce cases, including
custody, child support, visitation and property
settlements. Mr. Richards also developed his
skills and experience in his first few years of
practice in all the various courts of the
surrounding counties, including Probate,
Domestic Relations, Municipal Court, Juvenile
and Common Pleas Court. He also developed vital
skills in Discovery, Deposition, and Trial
Preparation.
In 1989, Mr. Richards went on to found Richards
& Associates, which is now in its 17th year
of existence.
In his 30 years of private practice, Mr. Richards
has represented Banks, Mortgage Companies,
Lending Institutions and has been involved in
countless cases for creditors in collecting
judgments, including attachments, garnishments,
and foreclosures. Richards &
