Real Estate Terms:

  • Statute of Frauds - The sale of real estate in Ohio must be in writing to be enforceable according to this statute
  • Mortgage Liens -Your mortgage through your bank that puts a hold on your real estate until it is paid in full
  • Judgment Liens - Lawsuits filed against you and concluded in a judgment against you can be used to put a hold on your real estate similar to a mortgage and can be used to foreclose on your property if not paid
